The Law goes social…

We’ve been impressed by the way Darren Sanicki Lawyers are utilising social media to get their name out into the Australian music business.

Already a successful practice with a number of established as well as new emerging talent the company referring to itself as ‘a boutique law firm dedicated to the world of music, commerce and the arts’ utilize a great series of blogs to keep their clients informed with articles ranging from dividing song credits to changes in relevant Government legislation.

d.tail believes that any opportunity you have to inform and embellish the knowledge stream in your area of expertise with relevant and useful information is a great chance to ingratiate yourself in the community you are peddling your wares to.
DS do it using a great looking Myspace – an opportunity to keep a profile in the social medium where many of their clients have a presence but also to be seen providing information in an area that completely befuddles the average musician.

We think it’s a great approach, hope they and others can expand the service to maybe include a brief Q & A on Twitter for example.
